Colleen Ebbitt is a Senior Policy Advisor in the government’s Inclusive Economy Unit, a specialised team that works across the public, private and social sectors to create jobs, develop new businesses and enable innovative responses to societal problems. She leads the government’s work on innovative finance – blending philanthropic and commercial investment to scale social ventures. Colleen spent 9 years as a banker, working for J.P. Morgan in the United States and Switzerland. Colleen was a 2015 LGT Impact Ventures fellow working on strategic growth initiatives for mothers2mothers, an HIV/AIDs charity, in Cape Town, South Africa.
