Emily leads a range of high-level partnerships and projects across BBC News including the BBC Komla Dumor Award for African Journalists, a Solutions-Focused Journalism initiative as well as the Chevening Partnership.
Emily previously served as an award-winning broadcaster and editor at the BBC. She founded, edited and occasionally presented The Forum, the flagship weekly ideas discussion show, ran the BBC World Service Arts and Religion departments and has reported and produced for the BBC across five continents. She has also been a Visiting Fellow at Said Business School and a Senior Advisor to the Skoll Foundation, creating partnerships to source more diverse Social Entrepreneur awardees.
Emily has written for a number of publications including The Guardian, and the Financial Times, and chairs panels and hosts interviews at conferences and events. Emily is also a BBC Executive Coach, and on the board of The HH Wingate grant-giving Foundation.
