Juan is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford using a variety of neurophysiological and theoretical approaches to understand how brain regions interact and how these interactions mediate behaviour and different cognitive processes.

He recently completed his Doctor of Philosophy as a member of the University’s Oxford Centre for Theoretical Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence, where he focused on using artificial neural network models to understand better how sensory signals are integrated and transformed in order to plan and execute motor actions.
