Sam Daws has served in UN policy roles for 30 years, including as first officer to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, senior advisor to the UN Foundation, and deputy director in the UK Cabinet Office providing strategy advice to the Prime Minister on the creation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Sam is passionate about how technology can contribute to global solutions from conflict resolution to climate change. He has written a dozen books and runs a project on UN governance and reform at the University of Oxford. He directs the consultancy 3D Strategy, was a visiting fellow in international law at Cambridge, and is a social investment alumnus of Cass Business School.
